About the Leadership DeKalb Program

Each spring, Leadership DeKalb accepts nominations and applications for candidates to participate in our 10-month leadership development program.  The program consists of opening and closing overnight retreats, eight monthly daylong sessions, and a small-group project. 

During the program, class members view DeKalb County from many angles, learn about the issues facing the region, and discover the impact they can have as well-informed leaders.  Members of the class engage in shared experiences, events, socials, community engaged projects, strengths-based coaching, and individual learning opportunities.
